In 2018 we visited Northern Tanzania and fell in love with this mesmerizing country. The breathtaking savannahs, lush diverse landscapes and warm and spirited people provided an instant connection for us. We knew that it was the place to start building our family dream. Having had a wonderful and rewarding career in professional services we were ready to find a way to live life with a stronger sense of purpose, to do something that, for us, really mattered.

After 14 years of living in the UAE, during which time we were lucky to have our children, it was time to embark on our new life journey. Our extensive travelling and volunteering just didn’t feel enough. So, with the reflection time during the last few years and our family’s excitement at starting a new adventure, Bouncing Books is coming to life.
